About Dog Bowtique

My name is Ava and I am a middle school student in Diamond Bar, CA. I started Dog Bowtique during the Summer of 2020.

With the school closure at the start of the pandemic, sewing was one of the things I learned to do while watching my mom make some masks. I started making my own skirt and some other things. Then I thought of giving a bandana to my aunt’s dog, Marshall. My auntie adopted Marshall at the Baldwin Park Animal Care and Control. Then during the summer, I asked my mom if I can start my own business that can help with pet adoptions, too.

You see, I love dogs. One of the things I would like to be when I grow up is be a veterinarian, if not a marine biologist or an Air Force Pilot.

So to start, I learned how to do bow ties and how to make dog tags so I can have more product offerings. I donate a portion of my sales to buy some supplies for the animal shelters too. I've also been making bow ties ever since to donate to the Animal Shelters- as a start to make the dogs for adoption even more adorable. So far, I have partnered with Baldwin Park Animal Care and Control, Inland Valley Humane Society and the Ranch Rescue Team.

All my products are made to order and made with love by me. I hope that I get to make a positive impact in the world by the tiny actions I make, and that I get to touch yours and your pet's life through my creations.
